My husband dodgemedlin.tumblr.com and I went to Paris in September. While I was there I painted every day. I finished some of the paintings when we got back home. Here are eight of the pieces I created. They will be shown for the first time Saturday night during the Ray at Night artwalk in San Diego.

Two paintings I am donating to the San Diego Fine Art Society. They will be available for purchase at Art San Diego starting Thursday.
I’d rather have scars than have lived a bland life —- it makes the art better.
I love painting French bulldogs, but this one is too cute for my work!
I checked, and this tumblr name is already taken. This one, however, is available.
That puppy just looks so pleased with itself. As well it should.

For those of you who missed Thursday’s reception of my solo show, “Stories without Words,” or want to see it again without the crowd, Pimento Fine Art is open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The show will be up through Sept. 10. It is housed within Olive PR Solutions, a working PR firm in downtown San Diego that represents arts organizations. Appointments are appreciated, but not required. And, if you would like, I can always schedule a personal tour with the artist!
